Jenny Lind - For One Night Only

On the 30th of May 2024 we will be at Elgar's Birthplace museum as part of the annual Elgar Festival event. Tickets to the event are free and can be booked via the Elgar Festival website.

We will be hosting an interactive talk given by Andy Vi-Ming Kok, senior law lecturer from the University of Worcester about a fascinating aspect of Jenny Lind's career in the years before she joined Barnum for her tour of America. There will be an art workshop and a dressing up box. A treasure hunt created and managed by Sue Pope. April Fredrick will perform ‘Qui la voce’, a favourite Bellini aria of Lind’s, with violinist Grace Shepherd. Plus, we are thrilled to announce a group participation singing opportunity with April too.
